This design replaced the later 7 year old version, again bottled for the general market between approximately 1972 to 1976, this bottle of Bowmore Islay Single malt was sold under the name of Sherriffs one of the previous distillery owners, although the distillery was by this time owned by Stanley P Morrison Ltd which later became Morrison Bowmore Distillers. Note that the ship design was re worked in later years and has been used in different styles on various Bowmore including 15 years old mariner.
